About the Game
What exactly is Drakensang?
Drakensang (DraSa) is a classical, party-based Fantasy-CRPG like Baldur's Gate. It's based on Germany's most successful pen & paper RPG “The Dark Eye” (TDE) from Ulisses Spiele. The events take place in Aventuria, TDE's main campaign world, a European style medieval fantasy world.
Developer / Publisher
DraSa is being developed by German game developer Radon Labs (Urban Assault, Project Nomads). DraSa is their first CRPG project, but since the developers are passionate TDE players they are aware of the TDE system and try to make the transition to the PC as fluent as possible.
Publisher for the game is dtp, who will release DraSa under their label for adventure games, Anaconda.
Release
DraSa is to be released 3rd quarter 2008
Platform
For now, DraSa is only being developed for Windows PC. A Linux port should be possible, but at the moment there are no plans to release the game for Linux.
